Do we sound like a good match?

Where are you based?

Auckland, NZ although I travel to weddings all over New Zealand such as Queenstown, Wanaka, Northland, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki plus across the ditch to Australia and anywhere in the world if you're both keen for an epic adventure!

Describe your style?

My style can be described as elegant, natural and relaxed with a sophisticated editorial edge. I’m all about creating images that are timeless and won’t look dated in a few years time. I hunt for the moments that matter and seek out to catch the hidden moments that you didn’t know were there.

Do we need an Engagement or Pre-wedding shoot?

Let’s go and take an hour or so to have a walk around a favourite location of your choice at sunset. This is a chance to get comfortable being in front of the camera together and also getting to know me and how I work. When your wedding day comes you will know what to expect and be comfortable and relaxed. You will also receive some gorgeous images of you both which you can use for save the dates or wedding websites etc. It's the ultimate practice session! View Engagement photos here

Can you help with my wedding day timeline/planning?

Absolutely! I am more than happy to help with planning your timeline. This will help your day flow smoothly from getting ready beforehand to when we should duck outside for those glorious sunset photos.

You haven't photographed at my wedding venue before. Does that matter?

Absolutely not. Photographers are creatives. We love getting to see new places and experience different venues and this is something that we get to do often. A fresh set of eyes might see something new and different than a regular might not have. If I havent photographed at your venue before, I’ll always go there prior to your wedding day for a good look around and scout some epic locations for photos. Do we need to feed you?

I’m normally running around like a madman all day ensuring I’m capturing everything so some grub to fuel up is appreciated. Pro tip, please tell your venue to feed me the same time as you so I don’t miss out on capturing the speeches. Some venues insist on feeding other vendors last which means we can’t eat as you’re back into speeches after your meals.

Okay we are married now. When do we get the goods?

Usually between 4-8 weeks depending on the season. I take great care in editing your images to ensure that they are perfect.

How many images do we get?

It depends on the package you have chosen. Roughly around 800 images for a full day but if there’s an abundance of goodness you will get them all. I don’t hold back

How do we receive our images?

You will receive an online gallery which you can share with your friends and family followed by a small selection of prints and a slideshow with music.

Sometimes people have more than one photographer at their wedding. Can you multiply yourself?

Whilst I normally operate on my own, if you would like two photographers for your wedding day then that can be arranged for a little extra. A second shooter can photograph one partner getting ready whilst I'm with the other. They can also cover extra angles during the ceremony such as your teary parents & grandparents and capture more candid moments such as your guests mingling during the cocktail hour whilst I'm capturing the fun of the bridal party portraits.

Oh no, we’ve lost all of our wedding photos. Can you help?

Don’t fret, if you somehow lose your precious wedding images, I always have multiple backups so they are safe forever. I do suggest making multiple copies of your own though.

We also want a videographer for our wedding. Can you provide video?

Yes, I have a videographer who works alongside me and is available as an add-on to any full day photo package. Choosing a video add-on with me also means that you are only working with one vendor for both.
